Public works reports repairs, snow readiness and park grant filing

Public works staff (Jack, speaker 5) updated the council on operations including repairs to hydrants/hydrograms, snow and sanding readiness and ongoing cross-connection and water-system assessments. He noted continuing education activity and travel to a rural water conference for training.
Jack said the city submitted a grant application for a park remodel and had received contact from a county representative about the submission. "We put our grant in for the city park remodel," he said. Councilmembers asked to be advised when the county responds and thanked staff for ongoing maintenance and training work.
