Council approves renumbering of paired ordinances tied to the 2025–26 budget

"Just for clarification, these are not new. These are just being renumbered. They were numbered incorrectly," the chair said. Council member (Speaker 7) moved to approve the renumbering and final adoption of the budget ordinance and the compensation ordinance together; the motion was seconded and carried.
Council emphasized that the action corrected numbering and does not represent new policy beyond the previously reviewed budget and compensation language.
