The Uintah City Council voted to accept Weber County parcel 071030021 in the business park for further annexation consideration on April 21.
Michelle (Speaker 8), addressing the council, described the parcel as the final piece of the business park annexation effort and said the next steps are review by the planning commission followed by a public hearing. "So I would suggest that we accept this for further consideration," Michelle said.
A council member moved to accept the parcel for further consideration and the motion received a second; the motion carried by voice vote. The planning commission will review the annexation request and a public hearing will be scheduled as the next procedural step.
