The Board voted to schedule a public hearing Monday, Oct. 6, 2025 at 8:00 p.m. on a proposed amendment to the local law requiring landscapers to remove clippings, cuttings and leaves instead of leaving them for general trash pickup. Trustee Walter Priestley moved the resolution and Trustee Craig Rosasco seconded it (resolution #2026-09-02).
Mayor Ralph Ekstrand also announced the Verizon/Marquis Plaza cell service hearing has been adjourned until Oct. 6, 2025 at 8:00 p.m. The minutes record the scheduling action but do not include staff reports or proposed ordinance language; the hearing will provide a public forum for residents to comment when the details are presented.
