The Colusa County Board of Education approved an Extended School Year (ESY) waiver May 13 to reduce the program from 20 days to 15 days. Superintendent Chuck Wayman said the change would help continuity of services for students who receive ESY supports.
Cristy Edwards moved and Diana Lytal seconded the motion; the board voted unanimously to approve the waiver reduction. The action was recorded as a formal waiver approval to adjust the ESY service period under applicable program rules.
