Chawanakee trustees unanimously adopt special meeting agenda

Trustee Barbara Bigelow moved to adopt the Oct. 20 special meeting agenda; Trustee Jack Thornburg seconded and the motion passed unanimously (Ayes: B. Bigelow; J. Hutchens; S. Waltner; J. Thornburg; E. Parish). The adoption occurred shortly after the meeting was called to order at 6:27 PM.
Later in the meeting, Trustee Elisabeth Parish moved at 7:46 PM to move to closed session under Government Code provisions for personnel, labor negotiations and contracts; Trustee Barbara Bigelow seconded and the motion again passed unanimously. At 8:50 PM the board reconvened to open session (motion by Barbara Bigelow; second by Jack Thornburg) and reported no reportable action. The same motion sequence was used to adjourn the meeting at 8:50 PM.
