The board approved renewal of two vendor contracts: Hudl (Agile Sports) for game-film recording and sharing used by Minarets High coaches and athletes, and Barracuda for server backup and data protection. Principal Rhonda Corippo described Hudl as the program used to record game film that "allows our coaches and players to study their own games as well as share film with other schools." Both renewals were approved unanimously as part of the action items.
Director of IT Filiberto Camacho explained Barracuda is used to back up all network servers to ensure data protection and compliance; the board approved the renewal and authorized necessary signatures per district policy. The contracts were handled as routine renewals during the board's action item segment.
