The board voted unanimously to authorize First Selectman Steven M. Everett to execute an easement and resolution to Connecticut Light and Power Company dba Eversource Energy to permit Eversource to run the main power off the street back to a building HVAC system.
Town Administrator Mark Walter explained the easement is necessary for the utility connection; Everett moved the authorization and the motion carried 5–0. No additional conditions were recorded on the easement item during the meeting.
