Staff noted the vacancy and pulled Tim’s application; Daniels told council he has been a Blue Lake resident since 2010 and expressed interest in supporting parks programs and the bike park. "I've been a resident of Blue Lake since 2010," Daniels said. Council members asked a few clarifying questions, including which specific vacancy would be filled; council member Napier moved to nominate Daniels for the remainder of the vacant term, Louis Lusso seconded, and council approved the appointment by voice vote.
Daniels asked staff about posting meeting minutes online; staff confirmed printed copies were available and that December minutes were posted. The commission appointment is effective immediately and staff will integrate Daniels into upcoming Parks & Recreation discussions.
