Committee member (Committee member) said the sticker option needs an outside printer while an insert could be produced internally and asked staff to return with cost figures.
"This plant will decimate the foothills if it gets stabbed," Committee member said in urging early action and widespread public reporting. Members emphasized combining outreach and reporting: volunteers could survey properties and use the QR-based form to document sightings for centralized tracking. Chair said the committee should decide after staff provides cost estimates and distribution options.
The committee also discussed digital access to the guide: a committee member noted a PDF is available on the Harris Ranch Wildlife Foundation Association website and proposed converting it into a searchable online format so residents can more easily identify species and access reporting tools. The group agreed to collect numbers and revisit the item at the next meeting.
