Friends of Eagle Library plan children's book sale Feb. 21 at City Hall

"Good evening, Anne Ritter, president of the Friends of Eagle Library," Ritter said as she introduced the sale details, noting pricing plans (four small books for $1, and $1 each for other books) and arrangements to recruit student volunteers from Northstar for setup. She said the Friends are coordinating signage with library staff and the mayor and will publicize the sale to elementary schools and neighborhood channels.
Ritter said the group has seen steady donations and that a recent program supplying books to a local food bank has been successful; she and trustees encouraged publicizing the sale widely to reach families and teachers.
