Staff and legal counsel discussed termination language; staff clarified "it's 30 days" as the termination notice in the agreement and the Chair said the amendment "aligns with the contract" used elsewhere. The Chair moved adoption of the resolution effecting the amendment; the motion was seconded and approved by roll call.
Legal counsel raised a technical point that the agency technically continues even if districts expire, and the board confirmed the extension with awareness of that condition. The approved resolution authorizes execution of the amendment by the chairman or vice chairman and the secretary and directs the executive director to take necessary actions to implement the amendment.
