The Clarksville Town Council voted to approve a one-year insurance renewal effective Dec. 1 totaling $1,153,043, up from the expiring premium of $1,005,477.
Staff told the council the total insured value increased by roughly $5.15 million, driving higher property and liability premiums; "the expiring 2025 premium is $1,005,477 and renewal premium is $1,153,043 which is an increase of just over $147,000 or 15%," a staff representative summarized. Council approved the staff-recommended renewal with Travelers, IPEP and Beasley.
