Manager Bader said the project will transition wastewater flow from Pump Station 32 at Silver Lakes Mobile Home Park north to Pump Station 24 to serve the Logistics Park, including work under I-65 and connection at County Line Road. Staff received four bids and recommended awarding the project to TRC LLC for $1,220,000, funded from proceeds of the newly authorized sewage works bonds.
Councilwoman Henderson moved to award the contract and Councilman McEwen seconded; the council approved the motion unanimously. Council discussion confirmed that the contract will be paid from the bond proceeds authorized earlier in the meeting.
