The Clarksville Town Council awarded a contract for Providence Way stormwater drainage improvements to All Terrain Paving for $833,761.
Manager Bader said Strand Engineering designed the plan to reduce ponding and flooding along Providence Way from Lewis and Clark Parkway to the flood levee near Emery Lane, and the project scope includes modifying the traffic signal at the entrance to Providence School. The town received four bids (opened July 28) and staff recommended the All Terrain Paving bid of $833,761, to be funded from stormwater funds.
Councilwoman Henderson moved and Councilman Stotts seconded the award; the council approved the motion unanimously. Work will proceed under stormwater fund appropriations and staff will manage scheduling and notice to impacted residents.
