Johns Creek BZA welcomes new planner and will skip December meeting

City staff informed the board that no applications were received for December and the board will likely be dark for that month. "We did not receive any applications, so we're gonna give you a holiday break in December, no meeting," staff said.
Planner Kyung Soon Wang introduced herself to the board, said she has a graduate degree from Georgia Tech in city and regional planning and that she began work in June. The board welcomed Wang and staff said they expect to notify members if a January meeting is needed; staff also indicated they expect an appointment to fill a vacant seat in February after the mayor completes the selection process.
