Resident praises Johns Creek safety, town center progress

A longtime resident, who identified herself as Sima, told the council Nov. 3 that Johns Creek is one of the safest cities and expressed appreciation for the new town center under construction.
During public comment, a resident who identified herself as Sima said she has lived in Johns Creek for more than 12 years and praised the city's safety and recent improvements. "I've seen tremendous improvement from last 4 years... this city 1 of the safest and number 1 to live in," she said, and added that the town center currently under construction should be ready by her next birthday.
Sima thanked council members and wished them luck for the election the next day; she concluded her remarks by asking staff to note her comment for the public-record process.
