Staff also discussed working with state surplus or Stone Garden transfer procedures to repurpose vehicles from other agencies and noted local low‑interest loan and grant programs (Great Northern) that could be pursued to finance a purchase. The commission asked staff to research transport and fit, to investigate grants or low‑interest loans, and to follow up at the next meeting if a viable vehicle is available.
