The Calumet County Highway Committee unanimously accepted staff’s recommendation to award the County Trunk Highway (CTH) M reconstruction contract to Robert Immel Excavating. Highway Commissioner Chad Scheinoha told the Committee that four bids were received and recommended accepting Robert Immel Excavating’s bid.
"It is staff recommendation to accept the bid from Robert Immel Excavating," Commissioner Chad Scheinoha said. Supervisor Ronald Dietrich moved to accept the bid as recommended and Supervisor Ty Stuckmann seconded; the motion carried unanimously. The minutes list the other bidders as Alfson Excavating, Kruczek Construction Inc, and De Groot Inc.

The award advances the CTH M road-reconstruction project into the contractor selection phase; the Committee’s action provides authorization to proceed with award consistent with staff recommendation.
