The South Whittier School District Board on Oct. 21 recognized students who earned perfect scores on the 2024–25 CAASPP tests and honored 31 students for perfect attendance across the district.
Associate Superintendent of Educational Services Dr. Rebecca Rodriguez read the names of students who scored perfectly in either English Language Arts or Math, noting that one student achieved perfect marks in both subjects. "Superintendent Dr. Gonzales expressed gratitude to parents, noting that their dedication and consistency in ensuring daily attendance play a vital role in student success." The recognitions included named students in Math (Mateo Macias; Samantha Blauser; Madeline Maulion) and in English Language Arts (Grayson Harriman; Mateo Macias; Michael Juarez; Nicole Venegas; Charity Alcorn; Angel Sanchez).
