The ordinance names initial officers: the mayor as president, the planning coordinator as vice president, the finance director as treasurer and the clerk of council (or designee) as secretary. The amendment motion was made by Councilmember Scott Radcliffe and seconded by Anne Marie Etienne; both the amendment and the final adoption carried 7‑0.
The ordinance establishes the corporation as a local vehicle to support economic development activities. Council did not record additional conditions in the meeting minutes; implementation details and any future developer or project approvals will arise in subsequent proceedings or through Developer’s Agreements as appropriate.
