Planning staff member Miss Browning described a cleanup annexation for property that had been assumed to be inside the city but for which paperwork was incomplete; the property houses the Goldfish Swim School. She said the process is a 30-day cleanup annexation that does not require a public hearing and that the city must adopt a services statement to forward to Lucas County.
"This is actually, a cleanup annexation. It's property that everyone assumed was in the city, and just, hasn't we have not been able to finalize the paperwork... This is for the Goldfish Swim School," Browning said. Council adopted Resolution 13-2026 as an emergency measure authorizing staff to state what services would be provided to the annexed area and to notify the county.
