The resolution commends the university for 150 years of service, highlights its evolution from the Iowa State Normal School through the Iowa State Teachers College and State College of Iowa to the University of Northern Iowa in 1967, and notes campus landmarks, including the Unidome. After adoption the House recessed to allow photographs.
