At its Nov. 18 meeting, the South Whittier School District Board of Trustees approved the full consent agenda covering minutes, purchase orders, contracts/MOUs, travel and field trip reports, acceptance of donations, and the October express voucher report.
The posted Contract/MOU list included a number of vendor agreements: AMS.NET for E-rate maintenance services at $144,551.00; Argee Construction for automated fence installation at $74,101.15; Marianne Frostig Center for therapy services at $38,573.92; and several professional development and program agreements (examples listed at $15,000; $7,600; $5,750). Those contract items were included in the consent package and approved by a unanimous 5-0 vote (motion by Sylvia Macias; second by Dr. Natalia Barajas).
Board members offered no discussion before the vote. The consent vote completes routine procurement approvals and allows staff to proceed with contracted services and program deliveries listed in the packet.
