Kingsford City Council on July 20 approved a negotiated Purchase & Development agreement with McCole & Company, represented by Josh McCole, for the sale and development of three city-owned lots on Evergreen Court. The agreement adopts lot prices and building standards the council had previously established and sets staged development periods for the duplexes.
Under the agreement, McCole & Company will construct three duplexes with basements and at least 1,450 square feet of living space on the ground floor. The timeline in the council packet sets one-to-two years for the first two residential dwellings and 18 months to two-and-a-half years for the third dwelling. The motion to approve was moved by Flaminio and seconded by Freeman; roll-call vote was unanimous among members present.
