Lake Marie principal reports double-digit CAASPP gains; eight students reclassified

Lake Marie Principal Linda Eazor presented the school’s 2024–25 academic achievement results to the board on Nov. 18, reporting that ELA scores rose by more than 20% and Math increased by 12% compared with the previous year.
"Ms. Eazor attributed these gains to the school's collaborative approach—developing actionable plans, supporting students through data-driven practices, and tracking progress through regular data chats," the presentation summary said. Eazor also highlighted strategies including strengthened instructional practices, increased parent involvement, and more student discourse as drivers of improvement.
The principal recognized eight students who reclassified as English-proficient: Abraham Arzeta; Alexander Sanchez Camacho; Andrew Torres; Emily Camalich; Amberlyn Zacatenco; Liam Lopez; Sol Tlatenchi; and Ximena Hernandez. Board members offered congratulations during the awards segment.
The presentation was offered as part of the board’s regular reports on school achievement; no formal action was required at this time.
