Associate Superintendent Rebecca Rodriguez told the Board during a regularly scheduled meeting on June 24 that "South Whittier School District has met all standards which include basic services, implementation of standards, parent engagement, school climate, and access to a board course of study." Dr. Rodriguez presented the district's Local Control and Accountability Plan goals and reviewed reporting on local indicators used in California's accountability system.
The presentation provided context for the Board's later formal adoption of the district's LCAP and related items. Board members did not request additional action during the presentation. The report was delivered as part of the meeting's reports section and preceded the consent agenda vote.
