Moore described the nurse apprenticeship program as an initiative that trains nurses and helps address the health care workforce shortage; the $10,000 donation will support that apprenticeship, Moore said. No formal vote or further action was recorded; the recognition was an on-floor announcement and congratulatory introduction.
