Council members asked for sample surveys and emphasized the value of community and employee input; several said they would like to hear direct pitches from the firms before committing.
Council directed staff to add at least one more qualified firm to the interview list, circulate the firms' proposals to council in advance, and schedule 30‑minute Teams presentations (staff said it would coordinate availability and proposed to host a special meeting for the vendor pitches). Rick said Mosaic would hold an on‑site visit as part of its standard approach and that travel beyond that would be extra.
