Council backs moving forward on a downtown advisory board to guide activation and placemaking

Staff will draft ordinance language, update the boards and commissions handbook and run an application/interview cycle with the goal of appointments by late summer. "It provides a forum for these folks to not only participate directly, but ... to provide feedback to a board that would help vet those ideas," the mayor said when outlining the board's role.
