Planning commission approves amended plat to correct utility easement at Rowlett Business Park

The Planning and Zoning Commission on May 12 voted 7–0 to approve an amended plat for Lot 11R in Rowlett Business Park 2 to correct a variable drainage and utility easement that previously encroached beneath an existing structure.
Siliana Morijon, senior planner, told the commission the amendment repositions a 10‑foot utility easement to the east side of the building at 4405 Industrial Street to reflect field conditions and remove the conflict shown on the recorded plat. "The purpose of this amendment is to correct a variable drainage and utility easement line that encroaches onto the existing structure," Morijon said.
There were no public comments on the item and commissioners moved to approve the amended plat as presented.
