The board approved a motion to commission a water and sewer rate study from the Nebraska Rural Water Association to review sewer usage rates and connection unit corrections. Trustee Amanda Fangmeier moved the study approval and Trustee Doug Rosekrans seconded; the motion carried.
Separately, a request for water and sewer hookups and services for Lot 173 (located outside village limits) was presented but tabled until the June 11, 2025 meeting for further review. No formal conditions or fee schedule for outside-village hookups were adopted at the May 5 session.
The actions require staff to coordinate the rate study scope and prepare information for the June meeting regarding hookup policy or precedent for service to properties outside village boundaries.
