Navia told webinar attendees the $250 FSA contribution for union-represented PEB program employees was negotiated in the most recent collective bargaining agreement and will be distributed in January to eligible employees. The presenter explained eligibility hinges on the employee meeting an annual pay-rate threshold by Nov. 1 and not being enrolled in a CDHP with an HSA.
Navia said if a PEB employee is eligible but has not enrolled on an FSA for 2025 they will automatically receive the $250 on a Navia debit card in January; if they have enrolled, the $250 will be added on top of their 2025 election. The vendor cautioned the contribution does not count toward the $3,200 annual FSA maximum.
