Dunsmuir council certifies November election results and swears in three new members

The Dunsmuir City Council voted to accept certification of the November 2024 election results during the Dec. 5 meeting. A motion to certify was moved and seconded; the council voted and the mayor said the results were accepted.
After certificates recognizing outgoing members' service, the clerk administered oaths to the newly elected members. Clerk Wendy asked those being sworn to "state your name" during the oath; the clerk then congratulated the new councilors Hannah Smith, Brandon Hubbard and Sarah C. Brink and invited them to take their seats at the dais.
