Council approves WHUD drive-through permit and four other routine resolutions; 1698 Main St. permit passes with mayor abstention
Summary

- J2 (Child and Adult Care Food Program): The council authorized participation with the New York State Department of Health in the child and adult care food program for 2025 to support the Peekskill Nutrition after-school meal program; the vote carried unanimously.
- J3 (Special permit, 1698 Main Street): The council approved a special permit for a manufacturing use at 1698 Main Street in the C-3 zoning district. The clerk conducted a roll-call vote; all council members present voted yes except Mayor Vivian McKenzie, who recorded an abstention. The resolution carried.
- J4 (Sustainable Westchester partnership): The council authorized the city manager to enter a statutory partnership with Sustainable Westchester in support of a city application to the EPA Community Change Grant; the resolution carried by voice vote.
- J5 (Paramedics intermunicipal agreement): The council authorized an intermunicipal agreement with the town of Cortland for paramedic services; the resolution carried by voice vote.
