The Town of Sellersburg Redevelopment Commission on Aug. 3 reviewed monthly fund reports and approved the claims register presented by staff.
Nick Lawrence, the commission’s project/finance representative, summarized the commission’s cash position and line-item appropriations, saying, “Our current cash balance within the TIF fund is $2,633,285.99.” Lawrence walked the board through ceded-fund appropriations tied to lawn care and landscaping for Camp Run and American Way and highlighted TIF appropriations for lease-rental debt service tied to wastewater projects.
After discussion the commission approved the claims register as presented. The approved disbursements included TIF fund expenses of $8,622; ceded fund charges of $5,793.40; and a seated mowing line of $2,243.50. Chair called for the motion, and the roll called the motion approved.
The commission’s staff said Duke Energy and several vendor invoices were included on the register; staff will process vendor payments per the approved claims. The commission will review fund balances again at its next regular meeting.
