UMP Plus offers lower deductibles and $0 primary-care visits for eligible members

Lauren Johnston, UMP account manager with the Health Care Authority, said UMP Plus offers a lower medical deductible — “$125 per person or up to $375 for a full family.” She explained that if a subscriber earns the wellness incentive through SmartHealth, “the subscriber's portion of the deductible is $0.”
Johnston also noted there is no annual pharmacy deductible under UMP Plus and that the plans offer $0 office-visit cost sharing for primary care when members use in-network providers. She cautioned that some related services, such as x-rays or labs, “may be subject to the medical deductible and coinsurance,” and encouraged members to check the network and benefit details before enrolling.
