Marseilles ESD 150 reports $2.45 million operating balance; revenue 12% ahead of budget

Treasurer Craig Hepner reported that "the balance in the operating account as of December 31 was $2.45 million which represents an increase of $25K from the balance at November 30." He said December receipts totaled $745,000, including $237,000 in LaSalle County real estate taxes, $282,000 in general state aid and $36,000 in investment income.
Hepner told the board that revenue was running about 12% ahead of budget year-to-date largely because of timing on tax receipts, and that real estate tax revenue was at 98.6% of budget for the year. Expenditures in December were $700,000 and the district's CD investment yield was 4.156% as of Dec. 31. The figures were presented as part of the consent agenda, which the board approved unanimously.
