Councilors asked about expected life and maintenance terms; Courtney said the equipment’s practical service life is about three years with typical extensions possible. Councilor Beck moved the staff recommendation; the committee seconded and approved the purchase as an administrative item that does not require full council action.
The committee recorded that the second bid tab in the packet reflects revision submissions and that staff adjusted the recommended line accordingly.
