He told the Board that a Waiver of Extra Territorial Jurisdiction Agreement with the Village of Weldon was filed with the application and that a stormwater study "found the project will cause no increase run off as currently designed." He also said the Illinois Department of Natural Resources concluded "there would be no impact on protected species." The company offered $40,000 to the Weldon Fire Department for a UTV with firefighting equipment, an item the local fire board was set to consider.
The applicant team introduced specialists covering environmental review, construction, development, cyber security, property-value analysis and engineering. The packet included a Frequently Asked Questions page addressing revenue distribution questions such as school-district impacts.
