Council directs city engineer to lead subdivision inspections and certificate-of-completion process

Councilmembers recommended involving both the engineer and public works to leverage technical expertise and institutional memory, and suggested staff present standardized forms and a structured inspection schedule. "I've got a whole list of, page full of check marks of all the inspections that have to happen," Tyrell told the council, and council asked that Tyrell present the checklist and inspection forms at a future meeting.
