Staff told the board that distribution of HARM Narcan continues across Whitman County and that the needle-exchange program remains heavily used. The minutes record that WC Recovery Center is seeking funding to support local recovery services.
Board members requested that Megahn Johns attend the July meeting to report on current uses of opioid funds and to clarify which funds may be used for other programs. The department also noted some local allocations (Pullman's abatement) go directly to the Police and Fire departments.
