Farmers market reports steady vendor turnout and plans to expand evenings

Melanie Keller (speaker 15) updated the council on the farmers market: she reported five market dates completed so far, with 35–37 vendors each event and the majority of vendors (more than 90%) from Franklin County. Keller said organizers are considering opening one Saturday a month in addition to the regular Wednesday evening schedule to attract more visitors from neighboring counties.
She thanked sponsor partners and volunteers and asked for continued city support for the venue. Council members praised the effort and encouraged more marketing to bring in visitors from across the county line.
