The motion to approve the support letter was made by Commissioner Mark Letham and seconded by Commissioner Lee Tischer and passed with all three commissioners voting aye.
Public comment at the meeting included support for the Tribe’s restoration projects in the upper Grays River watershed. The Board’s action is a formal endorsement to accompany the Tribe’s EQIP funding request; no county funding was committed by the Board in this action. The item was recorded as approved on the consent/new-business portion of the March 17 agenda.
