The board approved an encroachment agreement with PPL Electric Utilities Corporation to permit a parking expansion adjacent to the district's new operations center.
Mr. Cohen presented the buildings and grounds committee recommendation and told the board that the district solicitor, King Spry, had fully reviewed the agreement. "The committee recommends that the board approve and authorize the superintendent to sign the attached encroachment agreement to allow for parking expansion at the new operation center," Mr. Cohen said. The motion was seconded and carried by voice vote.
The board did not discuss alterations to the agreement during the meeting; the motion carried and the superintendent was authorized to execute the document.
