Quay County approves accounts payable, PED internship IGA and routine items; auditors onsite

The commission approved the county Accounts Payable/Payment Approval Report on a motion by Commissioner Dallas Dowell, seconded by Commissioner Brian Fortner.
Finance Director Samantha Salas also secured approval for an intergovernmental agreement with the New Mexico Public Education Department to participate in a Summer Enrichment Internship Program. County Manager Daniel Zamora reported that auditors were on site that week and that plumbers had begun plumbing work at the detention center.
The meeting's Indigent Claims Board convened briefly at 9:30 a.m. and returned to regular session at 9:31 a.m.; the full commission adjourned at 9:31 a.m.
