The board held a series of student recognitions highlighting work at Felicita, Oak Hill and Rock Springs elementary schools. Principals described school redesigns, global education frameworks and project-based learning and called up students for recognition.
At Felicita, staff highlighted the student ambassador program and recognized Hector Solis, Aiden Cordova and Dario Quatanango for leadership and academic growth. Oak Hill principal Carmen Madriga described a "10:10:10" practice focused on reading, writing and math fluency and recognized Dylan, Evely and Destiny. Rock Springs leaders spoke about character and real-world learning and recognized students including Jacob Sanchez and Denise Sanchez Montelongo. Board members thanked staff and families for supporting students.
