Union County announces business expo, arts exhibits, camps and grants

Multiple commissioners used their time to highlight upcoming county events and programs. Commissioner Neron invited business owners to the 2026 Union County Means Business Expo on Wednesday, Sept. 9 at King's University downtown (free admission; vendor tables $100); Vice Chair Williams announced the Teen Arts touring exhibit on display through Aug. 14 in Linden and noted the exhibit will travel through early 2027, and Commissioner Palmeri Modad, Commissioner Dellsfort, and Commissioner Baker highlighted the Summer Arts Festival concerts, a sensory-friendly summer camp at Trailside (Aug. 17–21), and the Family Fun & Flick outdoor movie series.
The board also announced that applications for the 2027 Local Arts Program grants open July 31 with a $15,000 maximum for general operating support (nonprofit arts organizations) and $4,500 maximum for special project grants (matching funds required).
