Board approves agenda; Zoom outage interrupts virtual public comment

The presiding chair called the Aug. 3, 2026 Cincinnati School Board meeting to order and announced the business meeting agenda was before the board for approval. Due to ongoing Zoom technical difficulties, the board suspended the normal virtual public-comment process and instructed members of the public to submit comments in person or by email to board members and to give any materials to the board administrative assistant, Phyllis Davis.
Vice President Moffatt called for a motion to approve the agenda. The motion passed on a roll-call basis with affirmative responses recorded from Armbruster, Bolton, Crossett, Linde, Mapp, Vice President Moffatt and President Brandon Craig. The board then proceeded to retiree acknowledgments and the public-comment portion of the meeting under the modified rules.
