The Unsafe Building Hearing Authority of the City of Hobart convened an organizational meeting on June 15, 2026. At 3:30 p.m., Mark Kara called the meeting to order and the board completed officer nominations for the coming term.
Matt Claussen nominated Mark Kara for President, seconded by Bob Schallenkamp; that nomination was approved with the minutes recording "All aye, Motion carried (3-0)." Mark Kara nominated Matt Claussen for Vice President, again seconded by Bob Schallenkamp, and that nomination also passed unanimously. The meeting record shows the board later approved a motion to adjourn, moved by Kara and seconded by Claussen, with the same unanimous tally.
